VERTIGO vytvářejí moderní alternativní zvuk, který by se dal považovat za příbuzný s kapelami jako
Nirvana a dalšími grungeovými sestavami. Ale to je jen malá část pravdy. Jako některé ze svých vlivů
uvádějí Joy Division, Doors a Wipers.
VERTIGO z Berlína tvoří Tjim Visconti - kytara/zpěv, Charlie Perris - bicí a Ole Thomas - baskytara.
Visconti se v písních vydává na cestu hledání, klade si velké otázky a bloudí, ba dokonce tančí, blízko
vnitřní propasti. Poetické hledání. Tanec na laně. Naživo to celé dokáže být dost intenzivní. Vedle
silného, zkresleného zvuku, který mají tři, jisté zuřivosti, se objevují i velmi tiché, zranitelné a teskné
nálady.
Touha dorazit do světa, ztracenost, pochybnosti o reálnosti vlastního života, překonávání propasti a
neustálé útěky, někdy velmi dobrodružné útěky, jako v písni PEARLS:
„- A ty mě vezmeš - vezmeš mě do rizika svého svítání - a říkáš mi lži, kterých bych si přál být
součástí - a práskneme letadlo - které snad nikdy nepřistane - a já doufám, že tam nahoře - nic

Visconti goes on a quest in the songs, asking the big questions and wandering, even dancing, close to
the inner abyss. A poetic search. A dance on the tightrope. The whole thing can be quite intense live.
In addition to the powerful, distorted sound that the three have, a certain rage, there are very quiet,
vulnerable and longing moods.
Longing to arrive in the world, being lost, doubting the reality of one's own life, overcoming the abyss
and always escaping, sometimes very adventurous escapes, as in the song PEARLS:
